On March 23rd, GM-AVTOVAZ organized a Supplier Conference. The purpose of the event was to review 2010 business results and supplier performance, as well as outline the JV’s goals for 2011 in terms of components quality improvement. 60 suppliers from across Russia attended the conference.

The 2-days conference for GM-AVTOVAZ authorized dealers opens in Rio de Janeiro on the 16th of February. About 140 directors and top managers from Russia and CIS countries will take part in the conference. The conference is traditionally dedicated to 2010 results and 2011 plans of the company.

The first stage of the Russia Championship on road-rally Bach «Belogorje — 2011» will take place on January 28 — 29 in Belgorodskaya region.

Between January 26th and 27th Marketing Conference for GM-AVTOVAZ dealers will take place in Yaroslavl. The event is dedicated to 2010 results and plans for 2011. More than 100 marketing specialists from Russia and CIS dealer centers will participate in the conference.

Between July, 28th and August, 12th GM-AVTOVAZ holds a theme-based rally called «To get Russian treasures on Chevrolet NIVA».

On the 14th of July in dealer center «Auto-Rus» in Pskov the 5th annual competition of professional mastership «Best Sales Expert-2010» took place.

Between 23d and 24th of June in Gelendzhik the traditional competition «Best Marketing Expert — 2010» will take place. The event will call together more than 40 Marketing Managers of GM-AVTOVAZ Dealers from Russia and CIS.

Between 11th and 14th of June the fourth All-Russian Festival of Chevrolet NIVA fan club organized by Samara subdivision of the club will take place.

Between 15th and 16th of July in Petrozavodsk the third annual contest «The Best Marketing Expert-2009» took place. Heads of marketing and advertising departments of authorized GM-AVTOVAZ dealers in Russia and CIS participated in the contest.

On June 25th in Nizhniy Novgorod in the premises of "Center-Avto" GM-AVTOVAZ held the 4th Annual Competition of Professional Skills "Best GM-AVTOVAZ Salesman - 2009" which involved 39 sales specialists from authorized dealership centers of Russia and CIS.

On March, 30 rewarding the winner of the Chevrolet Dream Garage action, organized by GM CIS DAT together with GM-AVTOVAZ, has taken place in Moscow in Armand City business center.

The GM-AVTOVAZ dealer conference is started in Yekaterinburg, Atrium Palace Hotel, on March 11th. The conference will last 2 days and its subject is «2008 results and plans for 2009».

Meeting upon 2008 results and performance of GM-AVTOVAZ Marketing Department and 2009 plans took place today in Suzdal. About 120 marketing and advertising managers representing the official dealerships of GM-AVTOVAZ in Russia and CIS participated in the meeting.

Today in Tashkents Intercontinental hotel a GM-AVTOVAZ dealership conference starts. The topic of the conference is results of the first half of 2008 and plans for the rest of the year.

The second annual contest “The Best Marketing Expert-2008” took place in Sochi. 33 marketing specialists of GM-AVTOVAZ’ official dealers participated in the contest.

44 employees of Dealers’ centers of Russia and the ‘near abroad’ countries participated in the 3d professional skill contest among retail sellers of GM-AVTOVAZ Dealers’ net. ‘Best seller-2008’ contest took place in Perm on the territory of JSC Avtoholding Dealer’s center. Selling assistants and Sales Managers were proposed to decide a theoretic test for Chevrolet Niva vehicle knowledge and three role plays: “Selling of a vehicle to a client”, “Telephone call of a client”, and “Test-drive holding”.

Today two-day conference for GM-AVTOVAZ?s dealers is opening in Pattai in ‘Long Beach Garden? hotel. The topic is «Results of 2007, plans for 2008».

110 marketing and advertizing specialists from the JV’s Russian and CIS dealerships participated in the Marketing Conference which has been recently held in S- Pete. The Conference focused on 2007 business results and plans for 2008.

At GM-AVTOVAZ Dealership Conference, which took place in Kiev, the half-year of 2007 results were summarized and shaped plans for the end of the current year and the beginning of 2008. 124 dealers from Russia and CIS participated in the conference.

July 5 in Togliatti took place the Dealership Conference for managers of aftersales and spare parts services. Representatives of 114 dealership centers of Russia took part in the conference.

Within the program of 4 WD Salon in the Moscow Exhibition Center ’Crocus Expo’ after the awarding ceremony ’Offroaders of the Year 2007’ were declared the winners among participants of the ’Grand Jury’ (who voted for the best offroaders).

Today 26 Chevrolet Niva vehicles built at the GM-AVTOVAZ joint-venture in Togliatti were handed over by the US Government representatives to departments of Federal Customs Administration and Federal Drug Traffic Control Administration during the ceremony at GM-AVTOVAZ plant.

On February 6th and 7th in Sochi took place the Dealerships’ Conference of GM-AVTOVAZ. In the Conference participated 124 dealers from Russia and CIS. During the Conference the participants summarized results of 2006 and shaped plans for 2007.

January 24th and 25th in Samara took place the Conference which participated in Marketing and Advertising Managers of Dealership’s Centers of Russia and CIS. During the conference the parties summarized results of cooperation in promotion of Chevrolet Niva and Chevrolet Viva in 2006 and evolved plans for 2007.

On December 15th, in Togliatti took place the Annual Dealership Conference for service and spare parts managers. Representative of 100 dealership centers participated in the Conference.

September 20-21 in Samara took place the conference which participated in 190 authorized dealers of GM-AVTOVAZ in CIS and Russia. During the conference the participants summarized results of eighth months of operation and outlined plans for the rest four months of 2006.

August 24th, in Togliatti, on the territory of the show room of “Crumb-Service” was held a competition of professional skills among selling assistants and sales managers of the dealership’s network of GM-AVTOVAZ “Best Dealer - 2006”.

During the half-year, from February till July of 2006, Sales and Marketing Department conducted a competition among operators of the Chevrolet Niva Hot Line to encourage them for higher quality of calls processing and handling.

September 23rd, on the Birthday of GM-AVTOVAZ Ukraine’s distributor “UkrAvtoZAZ” initiated test-drive of Chevrolet Niva around Transcarpathian region. Ten cars overcame successfully 150 km in hard off road conditions of Carpathian Mountains and again Chevrolet Niva approved its reputation as a real off-roader. In the test-drive participated 25 journalists from press and electronic media in Ukraine.

Initiated by the Sales and Marketing Department from the 15th of July begins action “Carnival in Rio” which extends up to the 31st of 2005. In February of 2006 the best dealers from eighth regions of Russia having sold the greatest number of Chevrolet Viva will go to the carnival in Brazil.

27th of May in Moscow started run by Chevrolet Viva. Five dealer centers from the capital “TradeInvest”, “All Motors”, “Jeanser”, “AutoImport” and “Klaus Trading” provided cars to come around Sadovoye Ring-way twice in order to attract customers to participation in test-drives which will be carried through by all authorized dealers.

7-8 of April in Samara “Renaissance”-Hotel received the dealer conference that was arranged by Sales and Marketing Department.

Sales and Marketing Department summed up the results of competition which involved salesmen from authorized dealer center providing and stimulating corporate sales. Within 2 months they had to sell as many as possible vehicles to corporate buyers.

The issue of the action, which was initiated by Marketing Department as competition among official dealers of JV “GM-AVTOVAZ” representing 7 Russian regions from Northern West to Far East, occurred to be very successful.

According to the tradition at GM-AVTOVAZ joint venture in January, the 28th, took place a lottery among employees who had no absence at the work place in 2004.

19th October at the 7th International Exhibition of vehicles and accessories “AUTOSHOW 2004” in Almaty took place the official presentation of Chevrolet Niva.

On the 26st of September start has been given to automobile race on the route "Vladivostok -Moscow" which is taking place in the Far East, Western and Eastern Siberia, Ural and the Volga region cities , in which the best motorists of Russia, near and far abroad and from all cities of Autoradio broadcasting take part.

He informed that according to the results of the first half GM-AVTOVAZ became the leader of the vehicle Chevrolet Niva sales among foreign cars in Russia: 30% of sales were in Moscow and Moscow Region, 20% - Ural and Siberia and 15% - Povolzhskiy Region.

The action "Multiply 4 x 4" was held by the marketing agency Euro RSCG Bounty Volga following the order of "GM-AVTOVAZ" from the 15th of April to the 5th of June in 18 Russian cities which have official dealers. The purpose of the action was to find out the attitude of participants of the action to Chevrolet Niva and determine the most promising segments of sales markets.

On the initiative of CJSC "GM-AVTOVAZ" Managing Director John Mylonas there will be a raffling lottery of three prizes in December 2004 – the car Chevrolet Niva with Opel engine FAM 1, a tour to Europe to visit one of GM plants and a trip with excursions to Moscow. Only the employees, who have not missed their working place during the whole year and have not been on the sick or administrative leave, can participate in the lottery. In 2003 the index of "zero" absence from the working place was 1.6% (one of the best in Europe) and according to the results of the year Chevrolat Niva was won by 22-year-old employee of the Paint Shop Elena Dmitrieva.
